Buying a Digital TV Antenna Alert (full story)

As of 12:01am this morning WHDH-DT Channel 7 (7.1 digital HD) NBC Boston switched from a UHF digital broadcast to a VHF one.

If your current digital antenna does not support both VHF and UHF, you will need to replace it with one that does if you wish to continue to receive their OTA (over the air) digital broadcast. Until today, a UHF digital antenna gave you local CBS, ABC and NBC digitally over the air, so only UHF antennas were needed.

For more information about which digital antenna to buy, visit www.AntennaWeb.org.
