For groups unfamiliar with the league, the SGFSL was founded
nineteen years ago and the league is committed to providing
opportunities to as many girls as possible to learn and play the
game of softball while developing team concepts and sportsmanship.
The league sponsors both a spring and summer season and while the
spring league is competitive, it is considered both recreational and
instructional with the summer league typically being for the more
experienced and serious players.
The league is made up of teams in
both the Seacoast area as well as surrounding outlying towns. New
towns and teams are always welcome.
